September Newsletter

Dear Parent,

With reference to the newsletter sent to parents earlier this trimester, we would like to inform parents that the running of the canteen by the school will begin on Monday, 8th October, 2012.

This decision was arrived at to fulfill Management’s resolution to create possible and enabling environments for the physical and mental development of our students.

Further details on the programme are as follows:

  • Cost of food
  • Grades

Price per plate per day (GH¢)

    Amount per week (GH¢)

    Pre-school Department (Nursery to KG)

Lower Primary Department (Grade 1 to 3)

    Upper Primary Department (Grade4-6)

    Junior High Department (Grade 7-9)

  • Only ANGELS FEEDING COUPONS in the following denominations will be used to access food in the school: GH¢0.50, GH¢1.00, GH¢2.00 and GH¢2.50 coupons in GH¢0.50 and GH¢1.00 denominations will be sold in the for supplementary food purposes.
  • Students will however, be served from the canteen upon presentation of an Angels FEEDING COUPON. Parents whose wards are in the Primary or Junior High Departments may make Weekly, Monthly or Termly payment to Miss Esther Addey (primary department) and Mrs. Helena Sagoe-Pyne (Junior High Department).
  • In the interim, we expect students in the Primary and Junior High Departments to continue to purchase snack as has been the practice. As management strive to ensure that the quality and quantity of food improve, we count on the support of parents/guardians for a successful running of this important programme.  Parents may contact Mrs. Tsakpornu on 0302962477

NB: The school will assume that students whose parents do not pay up are uninterested in the service; hence the wards will not be served.

The Management of School wishes to extend its transportation services to Prampram, Dawhenya Community 25 and Kpone, as was stated in our newsletter. Interested parents should fill the attached form.  For further enquires call Collins on 0277159794.

The 5th of October 2012 will mark world teachers’ day. Angels school wishes to do something noticeable to show our appreciation to our teachers.

Besides the package we have for our teachers, we wish to extend the opportunity to parents who would like to join the school to make these wonderful teachers feel they are appreciated both by the school and parents. Management can also do so much but together with each of our parents we can give them delightful surprise. Parents will agree with us that Angels School has some of the most caring, loving and dedicated teachers.

We are therefore inviting donations of any sort (cash or kind) between Monday 1st October 2012 and Thursday 4th October 2012. Donations do not have to be a whole fortune –“no little is small.”

Donations should be made at the front desk or through their wards. Thanks for your smile after reading this.

We shall in due course appreciate parents without mentioning the kind of donation mode.

Thank you.
